At Hemsegarden we make award-winning aged cheese from our own alpine milk.
Fabian Widmer from Switzerland makes the mountain cheese from our own recipe. The milk he uses is first class. Nothing is left to chance. Our eighty cows enjoys life in the large, top modern and organic farm with the lovely summer pastures. We can tell by the fine milk, rich on protein, that they give us all year round. Their milk has been honoured with several prizes. The top modern cheese factory is located at the farm. Fabian puts all his hounour and Swiss precision in making good use of these unique conditions to make fabulous organic cheese. In the milk kettle the magical process starts. After months and years of ripening, the cheese matures and gets its full taste. We are glad to present our first class products for you to enjoy!
Rich

Aged
Even more of the lovely taste! Suitable for a delicious sandwich with good company.
Seasoned

Raclette
Enjoy a dinner with friends with our raclette cheese. Melts beautifully with a delicious taste. To be served with potatoes, bacon, pickles and your favourite sides.
Yoghurt
Light and fluffy, delivered au naturel so that you can choose your own flavouring. Try with some fluid honey and fresh berries! You will find our yoghurt at the restaurants of Hemsedal.
Grocery
Hemsegarden cheese is available at several shops throughout Hemsedal; Kiwi (Ulsåk), Spar (Rampa shopping centre) and Ica (Hovtun shopping centre).
Restaurants
Both the cheese and the yoghurt is served at the restaurants in our valley. Enjoy a nice meal at Fausko, Fossheim, Harahorn or Skarsnuten.
