The origin of Skogstad initiated in 1905 as a combination of a stagecoach station, small farm and a bed & breakfast. Skogstad Hotel is still a family-run hotel in down town Hemsedal.

The hotel was recently renovated, and features Hemsedal’s largest conference department, a newly rehabilitated wellness area and a wide range of food and drink.

The Microbrewery is the latest attraction at the hotel, here you can try a GOFA-beer after a day of skiing.

Skogstad Hotel was nomineed for the World Travel Awards as The Leading Ski Resort Hotel in 2010!

Elgen Microbrewery

At Skogstad Hotel, among many facilities, you will find the district’s only microbrewery, where you can order a GOFA-beer.

In Skogstad Wellness you can invest some time in yourself, relax and find peace and quiet in the nice relaxing saunas.  In Skogstad Wellness you will find dry- and steem saunas, training equipment, tanningbed, wardrobes with showers among more.
