Climbing

Rope activities in a climbing tower

Climbing and abseiling from a 13 m high climbing tower.

• Time: Tuesdays at 17.00 (22.06-10.08), 2-3 hours
• Place: KRIK Høyfjellssenter, Lio
• Price: NOK 300 per person (max NOK 1000 per family)

No climbing experience necessary. Suitable for people aged 6 and up.
Is organised in cooperation with KRIK Høyfjellssenter.

Family climbing

For children from age 4 and adults any age.

• Place: Meet at Rjukandefossen Camping

Climbing on a climbing field

For everyone who wants to try climbing on 8-12 m high climbing cliffs in Hemsedal.

• Time: On request. 4-5 hours.
• Price: NOK 450 per person. Minimum NOK 2000
• Knowledge: None necessary

Climbing a longer route

For guests in Hemsedal who wants to try a challenging climbing route on Skurvefjell Mountain.

• Time: On request
• Price: NOK 2500. Max 3 persons
• Knowledge: Must have some climbing experience and be in reasonable physical condition

Iceclimbing

Try ice climbing on the easy accessable waterfalls in Hemsedal. You will learn how to secure safely while ice climbing, climbing technique on ice and more.

• Time: 4-6 hours
• Price: 2500,- (max 6 persons), includes instructions and iceclimbing equipment
• Knowledge: None necessary
•  Equipment to bring: warm clothing and sturdy shoes (mountain shoes or alpin/telemark boots)

Ski and avalanche

Randonnee and off piste guiding

Guided tours to mountains or powder snow in Hemsedal. The tours are tailored after the customer's level of ski skills and the sice of the group.

Price: NOK 500,- per person per day (minimum NOK 2500).

Introduction on how to estimate avalanche danger and how to use your avalanche beacon

1 day course where you learn the main rules for estimating avalanche danger and how to use avalanche beacons. The course will take place in the mountains of Hemsedal or at Hemsedal Skisenter.

Price: NOK 650 per person per day (minimum NOK 2500) + rental of avalanche equipment
