Summer in Hemsedal is an angler’s paradise, with long, fast-flowing rivers - Hemsila - and numerous mountain lakes.

If you want you can combine a fishing trip with a family holiday. Hemsedal has a beautiful mountain landscape, activities such as hiking, golf, horseback riding, biking and canoeing, elk-safari and more for the whole family.

Stay in a nice cabin at Grøthe Farm and get fly fishing guiding with one of Norways best fly fisher!

Hemsedal has a very active fly fishing club, and some of Norway's best fly fishers are from Hemsedal. One of them, Tor Grøthe, offers fly fishing courses.

Included in the price is accommodation in a magnificent, well equipped cabin at the Grøthe Farm (not included food) and fly fishing guiding in one of the best troutrivers in Europe - Hemsila.

The best time for fly fishing in Hemsila river is from the middle of June to the end of July.

Price:

Weekly fly fishing package NOK 6900,- per person (2012), includes 7 nights stay, 20 hours fly fishing guiding and one dinner at the farm.

Weekly fly fishing package NOK 4900,- per person (2012), includes 3 nights stay and 14 hours of guiding.

Fishing permits are not included in the rates.

Other offers: 
We can also offer 8 hours course (one day) to NOK 800,- pr person (minimum 6 persons - maximum 12 persons):

• Flytying and learning about insects
• Equipment theory with rigging of equipment and binding of leaders and knots.
• Throwing instruction
• Practical fishing courses, fishing license is not inkcuded in the prise.
• Sale of complete fishing tackle.

Accomodation:
