In the Lynxland children can have a safe and fun day on ski and in the snow.

Lynxland is located right in the middle of the children's ski area in Hemsedal Ski Resort. The area is designated for the youngest skiers, and is a fun and safe environment for the children to learn to ski or just have fun in the snow.

In Lynxland you will find a child friendly carpet lift, slopes, carousel and tobogganing area. In our insulated tipi the children can warm up cold faces, watch movies, play and paint. The entrance is free.

Ski school for the smallest beginner classes are held in Lynxland.

Ski school in Lynxland, 3-4 year

Level 1, beginner Lynxland - Monday to thursday

2 hours and 15 minutes with group lessons, 4 days staring Monday.

No previous experience needed. Ski school, activities, games and fun in the snow for the youngest skiers. We focus on giving children a great start as skiers with lots of fun. We will ski but also have time for activities, games and tobogganing.

Level 1, beginner (Lynx) - Monday to Thursday

1 hour and 30 minutes with group lessons, 4 days starting Monday.

No previous experience is needed. We practice stopping, ploughing and turning. The lessons will mainly be held in Lynxland, but we will ski in the children’s area when the group is a little more experienced.

Fun on Snow - Saturday

2 hours and 15 minutes group lesson on Saturday.

Fun on Snow is a beginner course. Here we focus on play and fun in the snow. You will learn to plough, turn, stop, take the carpet lift and platter lift.
