Tobogganing/Sledding
An unique sledding experience, tobogganings is for kids of all ages. re-deiscover your inner-child and take a ride on Hemsedal`s sledding slope. With snowracers and headlamps you can race with your friends down our designated toboggan slope night time.
Time: Every Wednesday, thursday and Friday. From 18.00 - 20.30

We recommend all participants to bring snowgoggles and normal winter shoes (skiboots are not to recommend)
Snowshoe touring
We have a range of tours for beginners to experts, ranging from fairly athletic hikes ot laid-back winter nature walks. Snowshoe touring is an ideal activity for families or those who are not famililar with cross-country skiing. We start from Hemsedal village or use the lifts to assis ut to the top of the ski resort, and hike in to the mountains from there.

Evening Hike with snowshoes
Time: Tuesday and Thursday. From 19.00 - 20.30

You can also hire snowshoes if you'd rather make a trip on your own.
Ice-Climbing
An introduction in ice-climbing for beginners and those who have tried it before. We start by fitting the equipment and move on, with a focus on safety and security technique. Using crampons and ice-axes, we climb up the almost vertical, frozen waterfall.

Included: Rope, harness, helmet, ice-axe, crampons and hardware

Ski boots or other heavy boots able to take a crampon are required (not included). Warm clothes and two pairs of gloves are also recommended.
Winter Via Ferrata
Via Ferrata is a form of climbing mountains, originally developed druing the world wars to move troops through difficult mountain terrain. It`s objective was to to be able to to ascent the steep and difficult mountains safely and efficiently on fixed routes. Today this is a popular way of climbing in the Alps. Now you can experience this thrilling way of climbing in the beatiful mountains in Hemsedal.
Our experienced guides will take you safely to the top of "vesle Røgjin". With climbing equipment we safely ascend the steep mountain side on a fixed route. At the top you get an amazing view of Hemsedal. We will return on a walking path on the backside of the mountain.
Time: Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. From 12.00 - 15.00

We explore the back-country snow on skis or board. You decide the programme: would you like our guides to show you the best powder? Or maybe teach you some off-piste technique? Perhaps learning safety in the back-country is your priority? We utilise the fantastic terrain close to Hemsedal Ski Centre.
Terms: Participants must have their own ski/boarding equipment. Lift pass is not included. We equip you with essential safety kit. Max. 10 persons per guide.

Cross-Country Skiing
Why limit yourself to going down the hill when there's adventures to be found over the hill. Hemsedal offers 210 km of tracks prepared for crosscountry skiing, and it's far from all about sweaty excercise.
We offer guided trips for beginners as well as experienced skiers.
