Hemsedal offers many exciting news for the season 2011/2012. Whether you are looking for speed and excitement or cultural elements, Hemsedal got it.

News winter 2011-2012:  

                       

Season. Hemsedal Skicenter is open from November 25th.
Winterguide. This years winterguide is ready.
Mountain Guiding. 'Fjellet Kaller' is a company that offers guided tours and courses in Hemsedal.
Fausko amphitheater. Amphitheatre outdoor with a capacity of 2000 visitors at Fausko Skysstasjon.
Hemsedal Bakery. Here you can buy fresh baked goods that can be enjoyed with a good cup of coffee in the café or around the breakfast table in the cabin.

 

News in Hemsedal Skicenter:

Snowmaking. Extended slopes and more slopes with snowguns - now 21 km total! Snow pledge from 17.November til 1.May.
My SkiStar. In My SkiStar you will be able to see where you've run, compete with friends and share rides on facebook thanks to a new online service.
SkiStar All. Overall, season pass for all SkiStar destinations - Hemsedal, Trysil, Sälen, Åre and Vemdalen.
SkiStar Experience. Camps for experienced skiers aged 7-15 years who want to develop their own skills. This year's news is Adventure Camp and Jibbing & Park Camp.
Kiosk in Gaupeland. Custom kiosk with toilets in Gaupeland. Sales of basic groceries, and cocoa to only 10 NOK.
Self-hour course. Feel like a national team athlete when you try the new self-hour course that is located in slope nr.22 - Dortheløypa.
